IT is a pleasure to find that, notwithstanding the death of W. B. Yeats and Elizabeth Yeats, the Cuala Press is continuing tlg. publication of its beautifully produced books. The letters a W. B. Yeats and Bernard Shaw to Florence Farr, here published date from 1891 to 1909 and were given by her to Mr. Cliff -Bax shortly before her death in 1917. They are now published with the permission of Mrs. Yeats and Mr. Shaw, and everybody who reads these letters will be grateful to them. Today we are apt to overlook the extraordinary brilliance of Bernard Shag because we have got tired of it and take it for granted. vi." to read these early letters is to be astonished once again at 11'5 genius and humanity. The contrast between his letters Yeats's is piquant indeed. Neither suffers in the comp/1'1,
