The following have been tried out for the Third Programme. A prize of £5, which may be divided, is offered for extracts (not more than 200 words) from the Talks Producer's confidential report, urging that he should not be employed again : Dr. Johnson, Baron Miinchausen, S. T. Coleridge, Oscar Wilde, Dr. Spooner. Entries must be addressed to the Spectator, 99 Gower Street, London, W.C.1, in envelopes marked Competition," and must be received not later than May 5th. The results will be published in the Spectator of May 12th.
