PICASSO AND MR. AYRTON
Ayrton, for a long time, has made no effort to conceal his vehement contempt for Picasso, and his recent review of the Victoria and Albert Exhibition was in his best style, vicious, misleading and bigoted. How consoling for him to realise what goodly company he now enjoys—the Tara Hounds, I think, they should be called, with Mr. Ayrton well to the fore. Picasso may wield a "dirty brush," but whether he excels Mr. Ayrton's pen, is questionable.—I am, yours faithfully,
