Illustrated Lectures on Nursing and Hygiene. By R. Lenten Roberts,
M.D. (H. K. Lewis.)—Dr. Roberts is a lecturer and examiner to that excellent Society which has done so much to minimise suffering, the "St. John Ambulance Association." The first lecture is addressed to the qualifications of the nurse, what she ought to be and to do; tho second deals with the ventilation and warming of the sick-room ; the third, to other matters con- nected with it. Food and drink, cooking, disinfectants, the observation of the sick, medicines, applications, and many other matters are successively treated.
