(Cassell and Co.)—When we have transcribed the second or descriptive title of this book, and thus let our readers know that it is "a tale of girls' school life in Germany," and have further said that we have found it quite a readable book, written pleasantly and in a good tone, we have about finished our criticism. The author is, we fancy, describing, in part, at least, her own experience ; the details of her pictures look as if they had been drawn from life, and we need only say that her experience seems to have been a happy one.
