Wednesday's debate in the House of Lords did not distaloae

any new facts, but we may note Lord Haldane's remark that the Government had given the House their word, and they stuck to it, that they had no intention of ever bringing about the subjugation of Ulster. The Opposition could believe them or not. Why then the crisis ?
