An exhibition, Putting Pen To Paper: prints and drawings by

Beardsley and others, is being shown at the Hunterian Art Gallery, Glasgow, until 10 February 2001.

The display presents a selection of works from the Hunterian's collections which illustrate different responses to the designs of Aubrey Beardsley (1872-1898).

Included in the show is the 1930 drawing (left) by Hannah Frank one of the 'others' — illustrating a quotation from the Book of Job. Frank was born in Glasgow in 1908, graduated from its university and still lives in the city.
