Wed- nesday evening, after a passage of less than thirteen days, New York papers have been received to the 14th instant. The political news is unimportant. Business, especially in the cotton-market, was dull. Two slave-ships, belonging to Americans, had been captured by a British man-of-war, and taken to New York ; where the offenders may be dealt with according to the laws of their own country.
