THE CHURCH.
The Rev. S. J. Cory, B.D., Fellow of Sidney Sussex College, has been instituted by the Lord Bishop of Lincoln to the Vicarage of Orton-on-the-Mil cum Twycross, in the county of Leicester, on the presentation of the Lord Bishop of Oxford. On the 17th, the Rev. T. Edmonds, B.A. was instituted to the Rectory of Ashley cum Sylverley ; and on the same day, the Rev. E. Hill, M.A. was instituted to the Vicarage of Birthing ; both ou the presentation of the Marquis awl Marchioness of Bute.
The Rev. J. J. West, B.A. of Jesus College, has been instituted, by the Lord Bishop of Chichester, to the Rectory of Winchilsea, in Sussex. Patron, Sir W. .Ashbur nham.
ORDINATIONS.-At an ordination held at Salisbury, by the Lord Bishop of that diocese, on Sunday last, the following Gentlemen of Cambridge University were ordained. Priests-TM Rev. R. Cosens, B.A. and the Rev. J. Lewes, B.A. St. John's College. Deacon-11. P. Shewell, ll.A. St. Peter's College.
