Mr. Lloyd George, in describing Sir Henry Wilson's work at
Versailles, gave a most vivid description of his notable foresight in predicting in January, 1918, exactly where and how the Germans would deliver the great attack on the Western Front in March, 1918. " In his judgment they were going to concen- trate a hundred divisions opposite the British front. They were going to put the whole of their strength into breaking our line on a very wide front in the Cpmbrai district. It is one of the most remarkable predictions in the history of military strategy."
