On Saturday last Consols left off at 891 for money,
and 88.1 for account. Yesterday the closing prices were 89i e for transfer, and 871 88 for time, indicating a fall of rather more than one quarter per cent. The Bank return is again favourable ; the stock of bullion held by the establishment is now 14,628,940/., whilst the reserve of notes and coin amounts to 8,557,233/. The stock of bullion in the Bank of France is 16,649,260/.
