A drama in five acts, called Mimel l'Esclare, has been brought out at the Grate. The scene is in Russia, and the decorations representing the region of snow are greatly admired. 'As for the plot, it is complicated to such a degree that even native chroniclers shrink from the task of pursuing its labyrinthine course. Nor is there any novelty of idea to induce us to undertake a task that Frenchmen avoid, and we confine ourselves to the communication that the author of the piece is the veteran M. Bouchardy.
