Sir: In his piece on anti-Catholic prejudice Dom Antony Sutch

gives prominence to a statement by me in the Daily Telegraph. I spend many hours trying to explain things to journalists who absorb only what fits their theme, adopt my ideas as their own, and sometimes round off with a pointless, often contradictory quote by me. Many will have had similar experiences.

I do not believe that there is any anti- Roman prejudice within the royal family, or anti-other-religion prejudice. Indeed a point has been made of including represen- tatives of other churches in all recent royal services of thanksgiving.
