The Senate of Belgium, on Tuesday, authorized the King to

ac. eept the treaty of the Five Powers, by a vote of ;3 1 to 14 ; a larger msjority than was expected. Some important points yet remain to

settled : they greet the navigation of the Scheldt and the mode

p;:yilig the Belgian portion of the Hollando-Belgic debt ; but the King is empowered to make the final arrangements. There scene to be little excitement on the subject in Belgium ; and the Luxem- burgers have fi)rwarded a very submissive address to their new So- vereign, praying his kind consideration of' their interests.
