COMPETITION
Set by Joyce Johnson: In Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, the characters Rosen- crantz and Guildenstern are shown conversing between themselves during the periods that they are off-stage in Hamlet. Competitors are invited to submit extracts from the conversations of any two secondary characters in any other Shakespeare play. Entries, which need not be in blank verse, should not exceed 150 words and must be in, marked 'Competition No. 538,' by 10 February.
