`l AN APPEAL TO MR. WELLS "
[To the Editor of THE SPECTATOR.] Siu,—May I make a small correction to my recent reference (in " An Appeal to Mr. II. G. Wells ") to Mr. G. N. M. Tyrrell's valuable book, Grades of Significance ? On getting a fresh copy (to replace one on loan as usual) I find that he uses the • term Warp to denote Individual life, and Weft for the life of the Social organism. My version did not affect his meaning, of course ; but I owe hint apologies, us well as gratitude. -
