The entire English-speaking world is evidently not of the same
way of thinking on the subject of Sunday games. According to the Melbourne correspondent of the Times, the State Government of Victoria has vetoed the decision of the Melbourne City Council "to open the parks on Sunday for cricket and tennis." It will be interesting to see whether the City Fathers, through the Melbourne members of the Legislature, will be able to force the Government to rescind its veto.
