Sir: So, Jeffrey Bernard thinks Gooch, Fletcher and Dexter should each be given a loaded revolver and asked to do the decent thing (Low life, 26 June); but then adds, 'In the event, though, they would probably shoot each other.' That would still do the trick, wouldn't it?
