The Silver Link. (The Sunday School Union.)—We do not remember
to have seen before this "Illustrated Monthly Maga- zine for Home and School," nor does the title-page give us any information. Taking it then as a new venture, we may express our good wishes for its success. Miss Evelyn Everett-Green begins the volume with some interesting reminiscences of her start in authorship. The other contents have the usual variety, and seem well chosen and suited to their purpose of entertaining and instructing. A diatribe against tobacco, about which Miss or Mrs. C. M. Battersby can hardly be supposed to know anything, might well have been spared.
