Sportsmen and lovers

Sir: Am I the only Spectator reader who is sick to death of weekly insults directed at the President of the United States by the ridiculous Taki? With the 14 March issue these insults are degenerating into soft porn. I suppose the explanation is that Taki is either undergoing a mid-life crisis or, since he is, in his own estimation at least, the world's greatest sportsman and lover, he is simply jealous of Bill Clinton's alleged `It's the kind that won't admit second opinions' success with young women. I must confess that I am, but I keep quiet about it — even when with my friends.
