GOOSEBERRY CUTTINGS
Gooseberries can be propagated quite easily if one has enough room for cuttings. All but the top three buds should be removed from shoots of the year about ten or twelve inches in length. The cuttings should be set more than half their length in good soil and made firm. When they have established themselves, they can be transplanted at the end of the fol- lowing season. The bush is shaped when the cutting is put in its final situation at the end of the second year.
