A prize of £5 (which may be divided) is offered for the neatest and wittiest defini' lions of purgatory for any three of the following : a poet, a civil servant, a school teacher, a housewife, a TV celebrity, a Cabinet Minister, a university don, a flint actress and a psychiatrist. Limit (if needed) seventy-five words.
