Dope makes you nasty

From Mr Jay Corbett Sir: The article 'Absolutely spliffing' (21 August) seems to me irresponsible and dangerous nonsense. My wife works with drug addicts, and I've never heard of one serious professional concerned with drug abuse who would support such views as I. Marwood expresses.

Incidentally, nobody has to either drink alcohol or use dope. I once heard Frank Zappa say that both, very quickly and unfailingly, turn 'regular' people anywhere in the world into 'total arseholes'. That's certainly my impression.
