spondent, " A." Several years ago an elderly gentleman took a party of 'friends to see some excavations on a Roman site in private property. The visitors partook of a somewhat
sumptuous lunch in picnic fashion and on their departure left many sheets of paper to be collected. But no doubt it was by inadvertence that they likewise left , amongst the litter two table-napkins which identified the owner as a well-known London .M.P., whose name I enclose.—I am,
