A COINCIDENCE.

SIR,—It is said that history repeats itself. In 1670 five statesmen met in Conference ; the initials of their names have added to our language the word " Cabal." In 1910 another Conference assembles. The statesmen who thus meet now number eight, but the initials of their names are only four. By strange coincidence they spell the word " CAB'L."—
