A special general Court of Proprietors of East India Stock

was held sterday ; when the East India Bill now before Parliament gave rise to •a long discussion, which, however, led to no result. The Chairman said that the bill was now under the consideration of the Court of Directors, and that whenever any thing occurred that demanded the especial attention of the Court of Proprietors, they might rely on being -immediately called together.
