A CORRECTION : THE GROWTH IN THE POPULATION OF GREATER

LONDON.—By an oversight the figures showing the growth in population of Greater London were incorrectly given last week. The number of births in the week ended May 17th was 3,247, not 2,347 as stated, and consequently the increase for the week was 1,650, not 750 as stated.
