REFUGE ASSURANCE.

The Report, which was placed before shareholders and policy-holders of the Refuge Assurance Company at the recent meeting was a thoroughly satisfactory one. Both in the Ordin- ary. and Industrial branches remarkable progress is recorded, and for the third year in succession the Company is giving Industrial policy-holders increased benefits by allocating a sum of £164,948 out of the profits, while in the Ordinary branch the bonus is maintained at 44s. per cent. on sums assured.
