Sir Thomas Fre- mantle is t Secretary for Ireland • he is succeeded as Secretary- at War by r. Sidney Herbert ; and the Secretaryship to the Admiralty thusleft vacant is filled by promoting Mr. Henry Thomas Lowry -Corry, one of the Lords, to be his own servant ; while Lord Jocelyn is to be the new Lord. Mr. Cardwell is not yet appointed to any post; but his past services to the Government are to be rewarded with a place, in which future service to the coun- try may be rendered.
