THE AGRICULTURAL LABOURER.
[To ms EDITOR 07 THE "SPECTATOR."] SIR,—Allow one who works like a labourer alongside his men to say one word in season. It is not so much higher wages as it is more leisure that a farm labourer needs. If, for example, Government would legislate to give every labourer a weekly half-holiday between October lath and February 15th no one could grumble. Time belongs to the community, wages to
the individual.—I am, Sir, &c., Homo.
