Fortified by a public dejeuner given in his honour at the Coal-hole Tavern,-fortified likewise by a very successful benefit, on the occasion of which he spoke a sensible specch,-Mr. G. V. Brooke has renewed his engagement at Drury Lane Theatre. The bills remain the same as during the former engagement. Indeed, when stock pieces have an- swered and the only novelty has proved a failure, we cannot expect ma- nagers to be moved by a spirit of innovation.
