On Saturday last Lady Louise Mountbatten was married to the

Crown Prince of Sweden in the Chapel Royal, St. James's. The smallness of the chapel lent something of the intimacy and simplicity of a private wedding which is so often denied to royal persons when they marry. On so fortunate an occasion as this there is little comment to be made, except to wish God-speed to the Englishwoman who is the daughter of that very able and self-sacriticing seaman, the late Prince Louis of Battenberg, and who now goes out to play no incon- siderable part in the affairs of the world.
