2006 marks the 100th anniversary of The Ritz London. Conceived and founded by the renowned hotelier César Ritz, this legendary hotel opened its doors on 24 May 1906 to great acclaim from the world’s press and visiting public. With its French château style architecture and Louis XVI interiors, the hotel became known as the most elegant hotel in Europe. It enjoyed the patronage of the Prince of Wales, later to become King Edward VIII. Prima Ballerina Anna Pavlova danced at The Ritz. The Aga Kahn had a suite, and Churchill, de Gaulle and Eisenhower met for summit meetings in the Marie Antoinette Suite during the second world war. Over £25 million has been spent renovating the hotel and incorporating modern technology and The Ritz has been restored to all of its original glory. Unique in its design, and undeniably desirable in its appeal, the Ritz Fine Jewellery collection of jewellery and watches encapsulates all the style, glamour and sophistication associated with The Ritz London.

Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of gemstones, Ritz Fine Jewellery combines the highest quality of craftsmanship with the finest diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds and other precious stones to create a unique and exclusive collection.

In November 2005 Ritz Fine Jewellery opened a second shop on Old Bond Street introducing many new and exciting pieces to the collection.
