APEX (TRINIDAD).

It is not always that market expectations of good dividend results are-realised, but such was undoubtedly the case in the advance in the dividend of Apex (Trinidad) Oilfields from 35 to 45 per cent. This dividend is the best since 1929, when it may be remembered that 524 per cent. was paid. The preliminary profit statement shows that profits for the year rose very sharply, and the actual net profit advanced from £229,000 to just under £34opoo, while there is a balance forward of £118,556.
