SOME BANKING CHANGES.

The City was glad to learn that, although Sir Alfred E. Lewis is relinquishing his position as a Deputy Chairman of the National Provincial Bank, owing to his desire to be relieved of some of his work in the City, he retains his seat on the Board. The National Provincial Bank also announces that the Honourable Jasper Nicholas Ridley, who has been associated with, the Bank since 1921, first as a Manager of Courts & Co. and then as a Director of the National Provincial Bank, has been elected Deputy Chairman, as from January 1st next,
