Sm,—I am instructed by my Committee to inform you that at their meeting held recently, the following resolution was proposed, seconded, and carried unanimously : " That this Committee expresses its deep appreciation to the Spectator for its championship of Humane Slaughter, and for its enter- prise in introducing the Schermer Pig Trap into this country."
