Timm Majesties have been entertaining large parties at dinner every day during the week. Among the most distinguished guests, are Prince Talleyrand and the Dutchess de Ohio, the Prince and Princess Licven, Baron Bulow, and several other German noblemen, the Duke of Argyll, the Marquis and Marchioness of Conyngham, the Earl and Countess of Shrewsbury, Lord Saltoun, and Mr. Calcraft.

It is expected that the King and Queen will return to St. James's a few days before the opening of' Parliament ; and then revisit Brighton for a short period previously to their final departure for the season. The Dutchess of Kentand the Princess Victoria visited Covent Gar- den Theatre on Wednesday evening, and appeared in excellent health and spirits.
