The value of the work already done by Mr. H.
A. L. Fisher for English education was handsomely acknowledged on Friday week, when the annual meeting of the Incorporated Associatioa of Head-Masters unanimously passed a resolution expressing profound satisfaction with the educational developments Initiated and carried out by him as Minister of Education, and its con- viction that he should continue in office to complete a great work so admirably begun, and adding that the Association "would regard it as a national calamity if Mr. Fisher should be required to leave the Board of Education at this juncture." We heartily concur in this remarkable testimonial from a pro- fession whose competence and well-being axe essential to all social and material progress. Mr. Lloyd George may make many changes in the Government, but he cannot afford to Interrupt the continuity of Mx. Fisher's work.
