We are gratified by any evidence that a clergyman has devoted some attention to an art so scorned, slighted, persecuted, as music habitually is by the Church of England priesthood ; and though the present compo- sition tern lay claiin to no great merit, it is well adapted for the use of a country, della to whom it may probably supply the place of something altogether execrable.
