Light Bird
A LIGHT bird blown
across infinity framed,
' my wan-through-window west, against heaven's seldom named and secular anger
dared take her slender part. Oh parcel of feather and bone touch-stone !—the test !
The tenebrous day has grown thought-limpid and longer since I have flown
that signal in my heart, her mariner wing untamed ; since I was shamed
