The Rosebud Annual, 1891. (J. Clarke and Co.) — The Rosebud is

full of illustrations of every variety and size ; and on its illus- trations its popularity doubtless depends. They are good, some of them being very well drawn ; and all possess a lively interest of the kind which prevents children ever being tired of them. Songs, poetry, and short stories are plentiful, too ; and altogether, it is just the book which children, whether they are well or ill in bed, will delight in looking at.
