The mil: , new prints we have to notice are a
mezzotint, by G. S. SaNnens, of a painting. by E. Lammaer, called The Destruction of .1crusalcut—one of the numerous imitations of Mairris's style, without his power or grandeur; an engraving (by the mechanical process in- vented by COLLAS for producing fac-similes of medals) of a miniature bas-relief from Srurnann's " Canterbury Pilgrims," in which the features appear as if swollen—an effect produced perhaps by this pe- culiar mode of engraving not being applicable to the relievo of the sculptor as well as to that of the medallist ; and a bird's-eye view, lithographed in a masterly style, by ALLOM, of the proposed Thames Haven Dock.
