Offended

Sir: I read A. N. Wilson's review of The Penguin Book of Contemporary British Poetry (Spectator, 27 November) with growing anger. I was appalled to discover that, although a number of the poets in- cluded in this anthology were picked out for personal abuse, I was not among them. Unless Mr Wilson agrees to publish a direct insult, mentioning me by name, I shall be obliged to call upon the services of my solicitors.
