am preparing for publication by Messrs. Barrie and Rockliff a biography of Philip, Viscount. Snowden, pioneer of the Labour Party and Chan- cellor of the Exchequer in 1924 and from 1929 to 1931.

If any of your readers possess letters or other original documents relating to Snowden, I would be most grateful for an opportunity of looking at them. Any papers sent to me will be copied and speedily returned.
