may be regarded as an excellent account of the history of CND, but it completely omits to men- tion the use to which the colossal expenditure on armaments would be put in a peaceful world.

CND's desire to divert these funds to a better use Was amply demonstrated by the ready response to the appeal to each marcher to carry a tin of Powdered milk for the starving children of Algeria.
