is undemocratic," does he just mean that people of intellect are not the Intellectual equals of people without it, or is some other complexity involved ? In any case, the sensible differentiations of salary which he proposes for the teaching profession would stand a better chance of adoption if they were directed, with all the resources Mr. Henschel has to command, towards the public, not just his fellow intellectuals.—Yours
