The Sweet Miracle. By Bea do Queivioz. (D. Nutt. is.

net.) —Mr. Edgar Prestage has put this beautiful little story of the Portuguese writer into excellent English. It is a story of the Galilaean ministry of Christ. The fame of the prophet has spread far and wide. The wealthy Obed sends his slaves to search for him ; and the Roman centurion Septimius sends his soldiers on the same errand. They search in vain; but the prophet shows himself unsought to a poor widow and her crippled son. This is told with no little strength and grace.
