NEW EDITIONS—The Psalms in Human Life. By Rowland E. Prothero.
(John Murray. 53. net.)—We are glad to seo that this admirable book has been properly appreciated by the public. Published nine months ago, it now appears in what may be called a fifth edition.—Dr. T. J. Lawrence publishes a new and enlarged edition of his War and Neutrality in the Far East (Macmillan and Co., 3s. 6d. net). The additional matter consists mainly of discussions on various cases which have occurred since the delivery of the lectures on which the book is founded. Among these are the seizure of the 'Prinz Heinrich,' raising the question of the status of mail- steamers ; the action of the Russian Volunteer Fleet ; the trial in a Russian Prize Court of the ` Allanton,' and the sinking of the 'Knight Commander.'—That very pretty and readable little volume, Stratford-on-Avon, by Sidney Lee, Illus- trated by Herbert Railton and Edward Hull (Seeley and Co., 2s. net), appears in a new edition.
