June 14th you say : "Thousands of good Churchmen, who would never abandon the designation 'Catholic' as the exclusive designation of the Roman Com- munion." I take it that you mean they would never hand over the designation to the exclusive use of the Roman Catholics. But I would venture to point out that as it now stands the sentence might equally be understood as meaning that they would never cease to use the designation in the limited Roman Catholic sense.
