THE BUILDER.
LONG bast thou wrought, yet who shall say
The walls are builded well or ill, Save He, who uses human clay His mighty purpose to fulfil ?
Yet we have seen thee at thy post Like that old prophet of the Lord, Who tho' encompassed by a host Could ply the trowel and the sword.
